For the remaining two quarters of the college year, the university continued to cost college students a fee that was initially instated years in the past to cover the program. According to the Sacramento Bee, the college ended its physical education program in December 2020, regardless of pupil protests. A group of UC Davis students filed a lawsuit against the college over ending the physical education program and allegedly continuing to charge fees that pay for this system.
